KITS AND FLOOD BUCKETS FOR CHURCH WORLD SERVICE
Below is a list of the items needed for each of those kits and the buckets. Please do not insert money into kits or buckets. If you prefer, you can make a donation to either the UMWomen or to the UMMen to help purchase the items. For the kits, write your check to the UMW Treasurer & for the buckets, write your check to the UMM Treasurer. ALL KITS AND BUCKETS ARE DUE BY JUNE 3.
HEALTH KITS
1 hand towel (15"x25" up to 17"x27"). 1 washcloth. 1 comb (large and sturdy, not pocket size). 1 nail file, emery board or clippers 1 bar of soap (3 oz. and up). 1 adult toothbrush (in the original wrapper,). 6 adhesive plastic strip sterile bandages. Bundle all items into a gallon size Ziploc plastic bag.
SCHOOL KITS
1 pair of blunt scissors. 3 pads 8 1/2x11 inch ruled paper (250 sheets total). 1 30 centimeter ruler. 1 hand held pencil sharpener. 6 unsharpened pencils with erasers. 1 2 ½ inch eraser. 1 box of 24 crayons. 1 14x16 inch cloth bag with handles, velcro, snap or button closure. Bundle small items in cloth bag, fold top over and secure with two large rubber bands.
FLOOD BUCKETS
2 25-oz. bottles liquid laundry detergent or 1 50-oz. bottle. 1 12-16 oz. liquid household cleaner that can be mixed with water, no spray cleaners. 1 16-28 oz. bottle of dish soap, any brand. 1 can air freshener, aerosol or pump. 1 6-14 oz. insect-repellent aerosol or spray pump with protective cover. 1 scrub brush plastic or wooden handle. 18 Handi-Wipes or reusable wipes (no terry cleaning towels) remove from packaging. 7 sponges, cannot be cellulose due to mold issues, remove from wrapper. 5 plain scouring pads, remove from wrapper, cannot be stainless steel, Brillo or SOS pads. 50 clothespins. 2 50 foot cotton or plastic clotheslines or 1 100-ft. cotton or plastic clothesline. 24 heavy-duty trash bags, 33-45 gallon sizes, remove from the box. 5 dust masks. 2 pairs kitchen dishwashing gloves (should be durable enough for multiple uses) remove from packaging. 1 pair work gloves, cotton with leather palm or all leather.

The Food Closet is in need of the following items:

canned meats (vienna sausage, potted meat, tuna, spam); canned fruits (peaches, pineapple, apples) canned vegetables (diced tomatoes, beans—pinto, kidney, and pork); marinara sauces; rice; pasta (spaghetti, macaroni, lasagna, spiral); boxed macaroni & cheese; assorted jellies; peanut butter; boxes of cereal and oatmeal.  Please limit the sizes of the jars and cans to the regular sizes. Any donations you give are greatly appreciated.
