New Worship Procedures
Based on new State and VA Conference guidelines, and the recommendations of our Post-COVID Reentry Group,

  • Allow those fully vaccinated to attend and sing without a mask
(those who want to continue to wear a mask should feel comfortable continuing to do so)
  • Sing our hymns vice watching video hymns
  • Have a more traditional Communion
  • Plan to resume anthems from our Choir
  • Resume the coffee fellowship at the middle entrance
  • Allow preparation and consumption of food
  • We plan to maintain a 10am Worship start time

If you haven't returned for in-person worship yet, there is still plenty of space to allow for social distancing. You just need to wear a mask and pre-register. You can pre-register at, or fill out a form in the office, or fill one out at the door. We will continue to stream the service via Zoom at with passcode 804. We want to thank Dennis Morgan for his continued support of our Worship Services.

In-Person Worship
We will continue with the 10 am start time until we get to Phase 3. We will also continue to stream the service live via Zoom and post a recording of the service on Facebook & our website for those that can't attend. We hope to see as many of you as possible but truly understand that everyone needs to make their own risk decisions. We will do everything we can to make it a safe event for everyone. If you want to attend you must fill out a health acknowledgement form which is your pre-registration to attend. You can fill the form out up to a week ahead of time, but we ask that you complete is by Saturday at the latest. Everyone attending, including children must have completed the form so it can be reviewed by Pastor David. It is a simple one-page form and once you complete it online you can immediately complete a new form for another family member. Please go to and you will see a yellow button to go to the COVID Health Form. Select Elizabeth River District, then Select Memorial, then fill out the form, and when you finish it, it will only be seen by Pastor David since it contains personal health questions. You can also stop by the church office during the week, fill out a form, seal it in an envelope, and we will pass it on to Pastor David when he arrives to conduct our service. Hope to see you Sunday. God Bless

Helping people through the Food Closet is one of our most important ministries. Any funds left on the Altar Rail during Communion will be used for the Food Closet. In addition, you can mark any additional donations for the Food Closet and put them in the offering plate. If you want to donate items, small boxes of cereal, oatmeal, and other small meal items are preferred. We do not need canned vegetables. Please try and find items with low sugar and sodium so we can offer more healthy alternatives.
