WORSHIP PROCEDURES

Our current Worship procedures are:
  • Wearing a mask is optional
  • Traditional Communion is normally on the first Sunday of the month.
  • The congregation and Choir regularly engage in singing together.

PLEASE SEE PASTOR DAVID IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS ABOUT THESE PROCEDURES.

Please bring your offerings to our in-person worship, or mail your tithes and offerings to the church, or you can drop them off with Sabrina Monday - Friday from 9:00 am - 11:00 pm. Please see our Giving page for information on our new capability to support online giving.

Music Ministry
MUMC Choir will be on break after December but will restart in February TBD.

Summer Vacation Bible School/Fun Day
Our Summer Vacation Bible School/Fun Day will be held in the evenings from Tuesday, July 29th to Friday, August 1st. While specific planning is still ongoing, we plan to study parables with the children on Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday, and end the event with a Fun Day with hot dogs, bounce house, etc on Friday. More details will be published later in June.

MUMC Night at the Norfolk Tides
Friday, August 8th will be MUMC Night at the Tides. Because of the current parking situation involving construction of the new casino, it will be difficult to coordinate a tailgate. We would still like to go as a group and sit together. Please save the date. More information about the event will be published later in June.

We're continually planning meaningful gatherings and activities for our community. Please remember to check back regularly to stay informed about these events and join in the wonderful experiences we have in store for you.

The Food Closet is in need of the following items:
Helping people through the Food Closet is one of our most important ministries. Any funds left on the Altar Rail during Communion will be used for the Food Closet. In addition, you can mark any additional donations for the Food Closet and put them on the offering plate. Small boxes of cereal, oatmeal, and other small meal items are preferred if you want to donate items. We do not need canned vegetables. Please try and find items with low sugar and sodium so we can offer more healthy alternatives.
